More Marcy mischief. The traditional burning of the tires after the marriage. This is from over 30 years ago. What's the statue of limitations on this sort of nonsense?

The whole band is outrageously good and so cool. No wonder I’ve loved the JJCale records so much with Leon and that band!!
It wasn’t easy
Oh my!
I had the honor of drumming for them when they opened for Sawyer Browns ‘Buick ‘ tour.
They’ve finally learned to blend and work together on stage. There were times in the old days when it seemed they were competing with other vocally and instrumentally on stage and they sounded dreadful, especially with Neil Young.
I would love another edit of this... including at least a little of Poinciana.
Two of my favorites. Unreal!! Thank you, had no idea this existed
This song needs releasing. One of Graham's greatest songs.
I wish I could have seen a Nez solo concert like this one.I did get to see him and Micky in October of 2021 to fulfill my dream of seeing all four Monkees at one time or another.RIP Cosmic Cowboy!
Terrific combination of talent. I've always been a Leon Russell fan, but this was just great. Shout out to the band. The side guys are pretty amazing as well.
Thank you for this trip down memory lane! R.I.P. John Weldon "J. J." Cale and Leon Russell!
In the 1960’s UK music scene I was attracted by the likes of Lightening Hopkins and that led to a life long love of John Mayall and the subsequent discards from his bands basically filled my collections. Along side thus I was keen on ballads and folk misic, partly because if an art teacher that was involved in the UK folk scene and a desire to return to self sufficiency which included musical instruments. I am a fan of Leon Russell and JJ Cale seemed to bridge several parts of my own music appreciation.
Merci !!
That is really an awesome set.. thanks for posting
Love me some Ray Wylie Hubbard!!!
Is u cool been A ?

WOW 😮
your music is marvellous ❤❤❤
Ed, your description of the gathering was spot on and priceless! Thank you for doing this, it is great!
Erg mooi. From the Netherlands ❤❤❤❤❤
concert à la hauteur
To think I grew up in the SF Bay Area listening to that Master of His Craft...I am truly blessed. KSAN was the reason why I made Radio my career.🥰
Ontstellend mooi. Gr. Uit Nederland..
I first saw JJ on a snowy night in January of '77 at a place called PB Scotts in Blowing Rock, NC. Great 3 hour set in support of his Troubadour album. Great show, then we came out to 6 inches of fresh snow. JJ had the smoothest hand on a fret board I ever saw. Effortless. Got to see him 3 more times over the years. RIP JJ, and Thank You!
Wow this is a great comment to see, as someone who has only known or lived in blowing rock since the mid 80s. I can picture it! ✌️
What is not to like! Extraordinary talents - all the musicians here. This will get you moving!
JJ Cale has imfluenced so many guitarists. He has such a signature style. One of my favorite all time guitarists.
Eddie Rabbitt was a class act and always performed for lots of charities. I'm not surprised to see him posing with a special needs child. RIP Eddie
Janis Oliver (Gill), Vince's ex-wife, at 1:16 is so pretty. Even to this day she is. She and her sister made up the band, Sweethearts of the Rodeo. They were a good group.
IT IS 5 IN THE MORNING I AM DRINKING MY COFFEE AND SMOKING I HAVE DRAVN A GRIEF CARD FOR MY FRIEND ALESH A DRUMMER AT JAZZ BAND ON RTV HIS MAMA IS DYING FROM DEMENTIA LIFE IS SO FRAGILE ASHES TO ASHES DUST TO DUST AND YOU BOTH J. J. AND LEON REST IN PEACE YOUR LEGACY LIVES ON
The only time I got to see Leon Russell was in 1990 or ‘91, and it was a little sad. He wasn’t in the best condition at the time. It was a solo show, and he had the bass notes on his keyboard MIDI mapped to a drum sequencer, so it ended up sounding pretty “Chuck E. Cheese-ish”. He couldn’t really play anything but “boom-chick” stuff with his left hand to keep the “drums” going. Also had two big (for the time) Mac monitors, left and right, that were used as teleprompters with his lyrics all scrolling. Kinda just barely going thru the motions. I knew a lot of his early stuff, and who he’d played with & his compositions that had been done by other artists and was very excited to see him. Thank goodness, some years later, Elton John rang him up and brought him back to the spotlight and, I believe, extended his life. I remember Elton talking about being amazed and nervous that one of his idols was in the audience at Elton’s first American shows at The Troubador.
Apologize To Her NO!!! Der Schweidhund She LOVES you
This is Superb. The Quality of the playing. Everyone connected, Listening (No Wonder living creatures love and need Music). Joy. How lucky we are to live in This World where sound Exists and Exists Everywhere. That affects us so directly and powerfully - that we able to change how we feel - purely through contact with it. THANK YOU, This is a Wonderful GIFT! I appreciate you. and I'm going to make to commitment to myself never to take Sound/Music/ and especially Musicians for Granted. It compliments 'our' nature.
I couldn't agree more! You nailed it.
Michael Nesmith is simply the best !!!!
JJ Cales hair looks like he just finsihed a Drywall job and rushed to the Studio
It makes me wonder what the context of the production is. Is it a regional music TV show? A made for video thing? They do look like they walked in off the street - which ABSOLUTELY is a huge part of the vibe.
Wonderful document. Love Blaze. Wow! what a songwriter/performer. Thank you for sharing.
One of the best videos on You Tube, hands down.
I mean, I FEEL LIKE I'M THERE, man. Pure, uncut, nostalgia on many levels
Thank you!
Wow🎉
¡Guapa!
JJ's main squezze sure has a sour puss on her face ! Must be that time of the month !
